ABOUT US

Nannies of The Woodlands, LLC, (NOW) is a locally owned and operated referral placement agency formed in The Woodlands, Texas, in 2015. NOW began out of a personal need. The Founder recalls when she balanced working a full-time career, being a wife, and a mother of 3 children, all under the age of 3 years old, twins plus one. It was challenging to find reliable childcare and identify the appropriate help to deliver the services she needed. Nannies of The Woodlands was founded to fill this gap. NOW’s goal, then and now, is to help families find the right childcare, caregiver, or service provider that meets their requirements. Families need NOW.

Since our inception, Nannies of The Woodlands (NOW) has offered a personalized nanny concierge service in The Woodlands and surrounding areas. NOW is focused on providing reliable referrals to assist with the childcare needs of our clients. We accomplish these confidential matches by getting to know our clients and their childcare needs. NOW will then refer qualified, trustworthy and experienced care specialists to families.

NANNY

NOW specializes in referring nannies to families. A nanny is a childcare specialist whose workplace is a family’s private home. A nanny is employed by a family to provide the highest level of customized childcare and to give personalized attention to the family’s children. A nanny’s primary role is to provide support to the family by serving as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to the children. Ideally, a nanny will have specialized child are skills, a deep under-standing of children and a genuine love of caring for children.

NANNY TYPES

For families who require a nanny to be with the children during business hours, this is typically the best option. Live-out nannies usually work from morning to evening and can assist with child development, education and activities, depending on the age of the child. Full time live-out nannies typically work 40 or more hours per week and often receive some benefits including paid time off.
For families who require childcare service at all times, this option allows for the most convenience. The nanny actually resides within the home of the family s/he is hired to work for and is hired to care for a child or children on a full-time basis and is paid for full-time work. Typically, duties include preparing the children for the day, meal preparation and transportation to after school events or sporting practice. Full time live-in nannies typically work more than 35 hours each week and may receive some benefits including paid time off.
For families requiring fewer than 40 hours per week, this would be the best option. Part time nannies are able to bond with the children and provide support to busy and/or new parents. Our part time nannies must meet the same stringent requirements of our full-time nannies.
Babysitting for the occasional care of children, typically in an evening when the parents have a social engagement. We can also place sitters when children are off on holiday breaks, mildly ill or when their regular caregiver is unavailable. Sitters are also vetted, trained and meet our strict requirements for placement.
A trained (non-healthcare) professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.
A highly and specially trained individual who focuses on the complete care of babies in the first 3-4 months of life. An NCS often has extensive training involving optimal sleep habits for newborns, caring for multiples, and promotes best practices for the health and safety of a newborn child.

HOUSEKEEPERS

NOW also refers experienced Housekeeper to help manage private households. Housekeepers work the family’s desired schedule, help create a clean and orderly home environment and become a critical factor in the daily routine of the family. A good housekeeper can help you manage your busy life of child rearing, work, and social engagements.

Housekeepers can provide an array of professional domestic services and take on the responsibilities of house management, cleaning, laundry, cooking and running errands.

PERSONAL ASSISTANTS

NOW also refers Personal Assistants (PAs) to help busy professionals manage their personal and professional lives. NOW PAs can help you complete your To Do Lists, so you have more free time for the important things.

NOW refers trusted assistants who can manage common errands, such as picking up / dropping off dry cleaning, collecting prescriptions, and buying groceries. They handle special requests as needed, such as picking up your client’s favorite gift, tidying your home, organizing your living space, making beds, doing light dishes, taking out trash and recycling. Also, PAs can assist with logistics of a large assignment, manage in-home services provided by other vendors, administrative support and more.

NOW also refers Senior Companions to local families needing non-medical, in-home assistance for elderly family members. Companions can help improve the quality of life of those needing social engagement, on a routine basis, with someone outside of the family. NOW is focused on providing companionship that helps seniors maintain their independence while remaining in the comfort of their own home.
